Political and military figures join with Polish community
The public is invited to join in commemoration events today for members of the Polish Airforce who died on the Isle of Man during World War II.
At Douglas Town hall from 10am and then the Aviation Museum near Ronaldsway from 12pm, political and military figures will join with people from the local and visiting Polish community.
Major Bruce Kirkham says it's vital the sacrifice of these men is remembered:
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
