Special meeting tonight
Ramsey Commissioners will hold a special meeting this evening (Wednesday), in light of recent developments over the town's courthouse.
Some board members and officials met Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey last week and will tonight discuss final options available to them to secure a purchase of the building.
It's understood a number of bids have been received by the department, including a £400,000 deal offered by the commissioners.
Chairman Andy Cowie maintains nothing has been finalised yet, but he's hopeful tonight's meeting will bring the matter closer to a favourable outcome:
Work underway to re-establish private patients unit
Last chance to have your say on Steam Packet's new vessel
Port St Mary Commissioners increase rates by eight percent
