Duo to appear before Court of General Gaol Delivery
Two brothers have appeared in court accused of making a prison escape attempt.
Serving prisoner Kyle Murphy, who is 20, has been charged with attempting to escape from lawful custody.
His sibling, 23-year-old Callum, is accused of aiding a detainee in escaping or attempting to escape from an institution.
The offence was allegedly committed at the Isle of Man Prison in Jurby on 28 February.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, were completed during an appearance before the deputy high bailiff on 25 August.
The duo will next appear before the higher court on 18 September.
