
A well-known building in Pulrose is preparing for a new era serving the community in 2015.
A project led by the Methodist Church in the Isle of Man has seen the old police house transformed into a community centre.
Local building firms, Island businesses and volunteer residents have been lending their time and skills to decorate, rewire and update the property - and work is almost complete.
Its familiar blue door has been painted red and the property renamed Manor Ark, after a competition to find a name was held at nearby Manor Park school.
Methodist Minister for Pulrose Reverend David Shirtliff says the name reflects the ethos of the house very well:
