Community groups benefit from UNESCO biosphere status

Beach Buddies and Girlguiding Isle of Man appeared as case studies in UK report

Two local community groups have said the Island's UNESCO Biosphere status has added value to their organisations.

Beach Buddies and Girlguiding Isle of Man featured as case studies in a UK report.

It said the accolade is estimated to bring in £151 million to local economies each year, as well as other cultural and environmental benefits.
