Multi-sports facility under threat?
A representative of Finch Hill Bowling Club is 'deeply concerned' about the future of the facility, in the heart of Douglas.
The latest draft Area Plan for the East showed the bowling green as being zoned for residential development.
After initial discussions, the area has since been designated as 'mixed use', but Ken Kinrade says this still doesn't give the club any security at all.
He wants the Cabinet Office to revert its status to 'open space, recreation and leisure use'.
Mr Kinrade says the top of town is very short of green spaces already:
