Public consultation launched

Eco-proposals could positively change government's approach to new build construction - but come at a cost to the private sector.

That's according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture after it launched a public consultation to help shape its approach.

The changes would look to reduce the Island's carbon footprint by making new build homes more energy efficient, airtight, and with provision for electric vehicles.

DEFA also asks what they think of laying foundations for high-speed data cabling.
