Memorial service at pitchside
An Island football club will pay tribute to a tragic young player this morning.
Corinthians AFC is holding a short gathering in memory of 18 year-old Joe Greene, who died suddenly while on holiday in Magaluf on Monday.
A team dugout at Ballafletcher has been turned into a memorial for Joe, with friends, family and teammates invited to lay flowers and messages on the benches.
It comes less than a year after Corinthians lost their team captain, 26 year-old Louis Thornton, in sudden circumstances.
The club has thanked supporters for their 'kind words and contributions'.
This morning's tribute takes place at the club's ground at 10.30am.
