Road currently expected to remain shut until 5pm
Large vehicles over 7.5 tonnes travelling from the west of the Island are being asked to divert at Ballaugh towards Jurby for northern destinations.
Recovery work is ongoing following a collision in the north of the Island this morning (8 September).
A heavy goods vehicle (HGV) rolled over leaving the occupant trapped inside - fire crews have since recovered the casualty.

Police have now confirmed the road between the Sulby Glen Hotel to Sulby Bridge will remain shut until 5pm.
