Modelling shows Island is coping
The education minister says the peak of the coronavirus outbreak is expected to hit the Island in the next seven to ten days.
Speaking on Manx Radio’s Mannin Line today (15 April), Dr Alex Allinson says ‘very good’ statistical modelling shows the Island is coping, but warns ‘we must be prepared for more people falling ill’.
He explains those with chronic lung diseases are at increased risk, as well as those with weaker immune systems:
