Treasury minister discusses energy security
The treasury minister says the cost of using wind and solar power to produce electricity in the long term is efficient.
Alex Allinson discussed the financial challenges of energy security during this week's government conference.
Government is currently consulting on proposals for an offshore windfarm while Manx Utilities have plans for an onshore facility.
While some have concerns over the cost of renewable energy, Dr Allinson says they are good value in the long run:
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
