Tynwald committee currently looking at Sea Services Agreement
The cost of travelling to the Island by sea is something ‘right at the front’ of the minds of the government division tasked with attracting more tourists here.
That’s according to MHK Sarah Maltby who has political responsibility for Visit Isle of Man.
The Select Committee of Tynwald on the Regulation of the Steam Packet Company is currently considering the Sea Services Agreement and the shareholder status of Treasury.
Mrs Maltby, and Deborah Heather the Chief Executive for Visit Isle of Man, appeared on Mannin Line this week.
