That’s the message from the leader of Douglas Council as he bids to ensure councillors engage more closely with ratepayers.
David Christian has set up a working group to assess a range of issues, including low turnouts.
One of his proposals would see members of the public table a question each month and for the issue to be discussed around the council chamber.
