Semi-detached property hit in Port Erin
A Port Erin couple have had to abandon their semi-detached house after it was struck by lightning yesterday (27 July).
They're now living in a motorhome while the owner of the other half of the property is currently off Island.
The building has been deemed unsafe and is sealed off.
This nearby neighbour says they've never experienced anything like it:
Further delay to TT schedule due to 'non-racing operational matter'
Crash which closed the Mountain Road ahead of racing 'not too serious'
TT campers in 'high spirits' despite rain affecting race week
