Landmark deal finalised
Ramsey Town Commissioners says it is 'delighted' to have formally taken ownership of the town's Courthouse building.
The landmark now officially belongs to the local authority, after the £80,000 deal with former owner the Department of Home Affairs was finalised.
It brings to an end almost 15 months of bargaining by residents and politicians to secure its future.
A team of staff and Commissioners are now working to find a future use for the Courthouse, following a public consultation earlier this year.
