Themes of addiction, death and grief
The taboo subjects of addiction, death and grief will explored in a series of events on the Island this weekend.
The creative workshops and readings have been organised by Janet Lees from the Hub in Port Erin.
She will co-host with internationally published poet Christina Thatcher, who has written a number of pieces about grief after her father died from a drugs addiction.
Christina believes everyone can access the power of creative writing to help them cope with difficult life events.
A free workshop especially for people dealing with addiction is being held at Noa Bakehouse tomorrow afternoon.
For more information or to reserve a space, call Janet on 470941.
