Crime at lowest level for 45 years

Cyber-crime of particular concern

Crime is at it's lowest level since 1970.

There were fewer than 2,000 offences recorded for the first time in 45 years.

However, it's not all sweetness and light in Chief Constable Gary Roberts' annual report, released today.

One area of concern is cyber crime which Gary Roberts says the police are not equipped properly to deal with.

He says their approach is two-pronged on the issue:
