Skelly apologises to B&B owner
The enterprise minister has apologised to a bed and breakfast owner and said his department will review the criteria for financial support.
Nigel Sperring and his wife Nikki run the four-star Albany House in Peel: he called into Manx Radio's Mannin Line earlier to say that his business didn't qualify.
He said in the criteria B&Bs were considered little more than an extended version of the proprietor's home, which was certainly not the case with their business as they've had to put in a huge amount of investment to achieve four-star status.
Responding to Mr Sperring directly on the programme, Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly said this would be looked into:
