The Infrastructure Minister says he's decided to keep Marine Drive open to both pedestrians and vehicles for the time being.
Proposals have been debated since last year about whether to pedestrianise the coastal road in future.
Mr Crookall says he'll review the situation again in summer if any issues or complaints arise.
