Jersey politician discusses island nations' relationship with UK
A member of Jersey's parliament wants to see the term Crown Dependency replaced with Crown Territory.
Sir Philip Bailhache has been giving evidence to Tynwald's Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee on the relationship between the three jurisdictions and the UK.
The three island nations are self-governing, with the UK responsible for defence and international representation.
Sir Philip says the term needs to be updated:
