James Franklin takes over from Charles Guard
Culture Vannin is looking for creative routes to better engage Islanders with Manx heritage on the web.
To achieve it, it's hired a new Online and Educational Resources officer, James Franklin - a philosophy graduate from Manchester University and Kings College London.
He intends to work with government to expand school resource provision, and looks to develop and grow the organisation's historical internet resources.
James takes over from long-standing Manx champion Charles Guard, who retired earlier this year.
He says he already has a plan in progress:
