Annual cultural staple begins
One of the highlights of the Manx cultural scene gets the curtain-up today.
The 43rd annual Manannan Festival of the Arts runs until Saturday, 1 July - as ever, celebrating 'every aspect of artistic endeavour'.

John Bethell has organised the festival since its inception.
He says there will be the usual mix of local and international talent on offer:
