Police issue update following incident on Wednesday morning
A cyclist has been injured during a road traffic collision involving a car in St Mark's earlier today (25 September).
It happened at around 11:55am, and police say the driver of the car is assisting with enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.
The road remained closed for a number of hours.
Meanwhile, the Roads Policing Unit is appealing to anyone who was in the area of Braaid Road at the time of the incident, who may have information, to make contact.
The cyclist is said to be currently receiving treatment.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is asking people not to speculate in regards to this incident whilst enquiries continue.
