Last chance to get on nursing degree programme

If you're interested in a career in nursing - it's your last chance to apply to get on the 2017 degree course on the Island.

Applications must be submitted by today (Friday 3rd) for those wishing to obtain a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Chester.

Two full-time, three year degree programmes are available, in mental health nursing or adult nursing, both taught entirely on the Island, with the opportunity for off-Island placements.

This year the Department of Health and Social Care is highlightling the opportunity nursing offers for people considering a career change.

Chief Nurse Linda Radcliffe says they want people who are keen to pursue a nursing career.

A support package is available for student nurses on the Island. More information can be found at gov.im/nursetraining or by calling 642 933.
