Decision time on pensions for Prospect members

Tynwald is due to vote on GUS proposals next week

Negotiations are over, and it will soon be time for Prospect members to make a decision on their pensions.

The message from the union's deputy general secretary, Dai Hudd, who is in the Isle of Man to speak to the 2,000 or so who would be affected by planned changes to the Government Unified Scheme.

Tynwald is due to vote on the proposals next month.

Prospect members are being balloted ahead of that, beginning next week.

Mr Hudd says the union is not going to make a recommendation to them:
