The Manx government says it's offering support, as attempts are made to salvage the Blackpool Airport route from the Isle of Man.
The airport is due to close to commercial flights on Wednesday next week (15th), but Manx-based ticket operator Citywing is trying to maintain its service to the resort, albeit after a temporary break of four weeks.
Tourism on the Isle of Man comes under the remit of Economic Development.
