Clare Barber tells Tynwald it's vital an alternative provision is secured
The environment, food and agriculture minister has welcomed a decision by Milan Vets to extend the deadline before it stops providing farm services.
Last week, the practice - which is understood to support around 90 percent of the Island's livestock - wrote to farmers saying it would end its farm work at the end of the month.
Milan has since reversed the decision, confirming services will continue beyond this month, with a further update expected "early in the new year".
Minister Clare Barber says it is vital that alternative provision is secured quickly:
Amber weather warning issued as strong winds and coastal conditions expected overnight
Hospice funding criticised by UK charity chief amid Isle of Man service cuts
Sailings cancelled as storm brings gale-force winds
Manx Mountain Marathon route diverted over safety concerns amid forecast strong winds
