Defence offers no evidence at AG trial

There’ll be no more evidence in the trial of the Island’s Attorney General.

After more than seven days of prosecution witnesses, this afternoon defence counsel David Farrer QC said he would not be offering any evidence on behalf of his client.

Fifty-two-year-old Stephen Harding denies charges of perjury and committing acts against public justice.

The trial will resume tomorrow morning, when both the prosecution and defence will present their closing statements.
