Mooragh Park camper site will remain closed for a 'couple of weeks'
Ramsey Town Commissioners have postponed the opening of summer camping at the Mooragh Park camper van site.
It's due to a 'risk of campers getting stuck and churning up the area'.
Ahead of the summer season officers have undertaken an inspection of the area however, due to recent wet weather, the ground hasn’t dried out sufficiently to support the weight of vehicles manoeuvring on it.
The campsite is expected to be closed 'for a couple of weeks'.
