Over £16k raised on Steam Packet vessels
A record total, and much needed funds, have been raised for a charity which provides training and equipment for medical professionals involved in motorsport in the Isle of Man.
Just over £16,200 was collected for the Rob Vine Fund on board Steam Packet vessels during this year's TT fortnight.
The running total collected over the years now tops £220,000.
Dr David Stevens MBE is secretary and director of the fund.
He says besides all the training and support provided, just the upkeep of their equipment is a costly business:
Taxi fares on the Island to rise
Weather causes changes to today's sailing schedule
Kewaigue closure in place this weekend for manhole replacement
New Captain of the Parish of Arbory appointed
