Boat owners and seafood businesses to benefit
The fishing industry has been promised government support for a further 12 weeks, as it struggles in the face of a collapsed global market.
A coronavirus support scheme, introduced in April for boat owners and seafood businesses, is being extended.
It's paid out more than £300,000 to date, with the eventual cost expected to reach just under three quarters of a million pounds.
