Integrated programme proposed for south of Island
Tell us what you want from a one-stop health system.
That's the call from the health department as it seeks feedback on plans for a Southern Wellbeing Partnership.
Drop-in session for those living in the south to find out more are taking place over the next three weeks. They are being held at:
- Abbey Church Hall in Ballasalla, Thursday 10 September from 2.30pm to 7pm
- Thie Rosien in Port Erin, Thursday 17 September from 2.30pm to 7pm
- The Engine House in Castletown, Thursday 24 September from 2.30pm to 7pm
A similar scheme was introduced in the west of the Island earlier this year, combining health, social care and wellbeing.
After initial disruption due to coronavirus, Adrian Tomkinson from the integrated care team says it's been successful in the west:
Lessons learned after snow day confusion
More than 100 firearms surrendered
Planning application to extend TT hospitality tent for new Food and Drink Festival submitted
'No tangible positives' achieved by public sector integrity line, says trade union
