Tynwald members back motion on routine screening
The idea of routine checks for diabetes has been backed by Tynwald.
Politicians unanimously supported a motion on the issue, which was moved by Onchan MHK Julie Edge yesterday (18 July).
One of those to speak out in favour was Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford.
Although not committing his department to anything specific, Mr Ashford told members there are ways the idea could be approached.
