Ian Bates takes on role for limited term
The man who has been instrumental in shaping the Island's public transport system over the last decade is stepping down from full-time work.
Ian Longworth is moving to a three-day week as he heads towards a planned retirement.
Whilst Mr Longworth will continue in his nominated role as transport manager, Ian Bates will take up the role of director of transport services on a day-to-day basis for a limited term.
Mr Longworth will continue to work as a lead officer for transport projects.
