Commonwealth Day address to Tynwald
The Queen has sent a message to Tynwald to commemorate Commonwealth Day.
This morning in the court, President of Tynwald Clare Christian read the address to members, with the Crown's representative Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood in attendance.
The message spoke of diversity and tolerance, calling for a celebration of individuality and inclusiveness:
Major reservoir projects completed on time and on budget
Repair scheme an 'antidote to throwaway culture'
Douglas council seeking sites for future housing development
Yellow alert for heavy rain issued, replacing previous warning
