Councillor Natalie Byron-Teare says Glen Falcon will also be opened

Dogs will soon be allowed on Douglas Beach all year round as part of a trial started by Douglas Council.

Chair of the Regeneration and Community Committee Natalie Byron-Teare says it will also be trialling Glen Falcon as part of the scheme.

The local authority's byelaws go up for renewal in 2028, and currently dogs are only allowed on the beach and in certain parks during set times of the year.

Councillor Byron-Teare says the trial is dependent on people not abusing he scheme and picking up after their dogs.
