Harbour due to be dredged again next year
The infrastructure minister admits his department is in a 'very tight spot' when it comes to removing silt from Peel harbour.
Plans to use Cross Vein Mine to dispose of the material removed from the marina were recently refused at planning, while Peel Town Commissioners is appealing against the Department of Infrastructure's use of a temporary lagoon.
The harbour was last dredged six years ago, with plans to repeat the process next year.
