Decision on licence variation application due at the end of the month
The infrastructure minister insists his department is doing all the necessary due diligence while reviewing Crogga's request to vary its licence.
Tim Crookall has been answering a question in the House of Keys.
Crogga wants permission to begin drilling for gas in Manx waters before completing a 3D seismic survey.
In February, the minister said a decision on the request would be made by the end of this month.
Mr Crookall says he's confident the right checks are being done:
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
Temporary lights installed on Douglas promenade
