Political member for department provides update in House of Keys
A political member for the Department of Infrastructure insists work is ongoing to find a 'fair and sustainable' solution to the bus drivers' dispute.
A normal bus service resumed earlier today following a second round of strike action by Unite the Union's members.
This morning, Bus Vannin confirmed another offer was made to drivers last week in a bid to resolve the dispute.
Joney Faragher answered an urgent question on the negotiations in the House of Keys this morning:
But the regional officer for the Isle of Man branch of Unite the Union claims she hasn't sat in a room with representatives from either bus vannin or DOI for 'weeks'.
