DoI to publish guidance for driving instructors

Driving tests and lessons can resume after changes to passenger restrictions

The Department of Infrastructure will be issuing guidelines to driving instructors and examiners.

The latest changes to the coronavirus lockdown measures mean motorists can now have up to two passengers from other households in their vehicle.

It means driving tests and lessons are able to resume.

The DoI says it's held talks with the industry ahead of this move, and will publish formal requirements in the coming days.
