More than 2000 signatures for Safe, Strong, Secure petition
The Department of Home Affairs is drafting a new bill which seeks to revise laws on domestic abuse, after a successful charity-led campaign.
A petition by local group Safe, Strong, Secure was started to highlight the Court's 'inadequate understanding' of the domestic abuse issue.
The charity's Tamasin Wedgewood is delighted the petition has secured over 2000 signatures after Saturday's flashmob, and feels the campaign is gaining momentum:-
