People advised to store or compost rubbish
Don't burn your waste.
Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is asking people not to burn their rubbish but instead, either store it or try composting.
The request aims to reduce any excess smoke, which could agitate Covid-19 symptoms affecting the respiratory system.
It also hopes to reduce the frontline services needing to respond to anything other than emergencies.
DEFA, along with landowners, have also agreed to stop any heath burning.
