Warning that it could hinder any prosecution of matter
Police are urging people not to share video footage which shows an incident involving a child who was injured by a knife.
Yesterday (14 March) the Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed armed police had arrested a ‘juvenile female’ after the altercation in Willaston on Monday.
The girl has been charged and has since appeared in court - you can find out more HERE.
However officers say they’ve been informed that several people have been sharing the footage between themselves and on social media.
Police are warning that this could potentially hinder a prosecution and could cause ‘significant distress’ for everyone involved.
