Electricians to remove festive features
Christmas decorations in the capital are being removed.
Douglas Council has confirmed its electricians have been able to return to work this week – albeit socially distanced.
The decorations were originally due to be taken down in the first week of January but this was postponed due to the current circuit breaker lockdown.
The trees and larger festive features will be tackled first – the council says it normally takes several weeks to remove everything completely.
