Leader Devon Watson says the local authority needs community minded people
The leader of Douglas Council says it's vital that people step forward and fill the vacant seat on the local authority.
It comes after former member Mark Wheeler resigned with immediate effect at the end of September.
Nominations for a new Central Ward councillor are open, and forms can be found on the council website which must be returned by the 15 October.
Councillor Devon Watson says the board needs 'community minded people' and wants to have a council that is reflective of the city's population.
