Devon Watson says issues around housing affect everyone on the Island
Douglas Council is on track to halve its social housing waiting list by the end of this year, according to its leader.
Speaking on Mannin Line today, Devon Watson says its been done by building new accommodation and halving the number of empty council properties in the city.
He says the local authority has already reduced the waiting list from between 250-260 to 213.
