Richard Falk wants more done to tackle debt
A candidate in the upcoming Douglas East by-election says more needs to be done to tackle the Manx Utility Authority's half-billion pound debt.
Richard Falk made the comments while appearing on Mandate today.
He says unfortunately that would probably have to mean the customers footing the bill.
He would also like to see the MUA taken out of government ownership: (play audio)
The Douglas East by-election is due to take place on Thursday, November 12.
The other candidates are; Claire Bettison, Kurt Buchholz, Jonathan Joughin, John McBride, Geraldine O'Neill and Cat Turner.
