60-year-old pleads guilty to incident last month
A Douglas man will be sentenced later this year after indecently assaulting a teenage girl.
Kevin Shimmin, of King Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he entered a guilty plea.
The 60-year-old admitted groping the 13-year-old on 12 March whilst she was sitting on his knee.
Magistrates elevated the case to the Court of General Gaol Delivery where sentencing powers are greater.
He’ll next appear there on 12 April and has been bailed until that date.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse Shimmin was jailed for two years and two months - you can find out more HERE.
