£5,800 worth of cocaine brought to Island
A Douglas man has been remanded in custody after admitting possessing drugs worth more than five and a half thousand pounds.
Glen Batty of Castlemona Avenue today (Monday) pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply, production of the drug to the island and possessing four morphine sulphate tablets.
The 21 year-old was arrested after arriving in the Island on the boat from Heysham on Saturday morning.
He’s been committed to a court of general gaol for sentencing a week on Friday - April the 15th.
