Magistrates dismiss charges after no evidence is offered
A Douglas man’s walked free from court after charges against him were dropped.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jack Anthony Willis Hutchinson, of Albany Street, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 27-year-old had pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman and criminal damage – offences allegedly carried out on May 3.
The prosecution advocate offered no evidence and both charges were marked dismissed by the bench.
